Aluminium 5052 Hex Bars consist mainly of aluminium (around 95.7%) with magnesium (2.2–2.8%) and chromium (0.15–0.35%) as the principal alloying constituents, with small quantities of iron, silicon, copper, etc. The alloy is characterized by very good mechanical properties such as a tensile strength of 210–300 MPa and yield strength of 130–260 MPa, depending upon temper (usually H32 or O).
